Dr. Sanan went on to complete a five-year residency in Head and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He then pursued a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University, training under renowned surgeon Dr. Sam Most. During this time, he also served as a Clinical Instructor at Stanford University School of Medicine and treated veterans at the Palo Alto VA Hospital.
