FAQs
You can color your hair up to 2 weeks before surgery and then can resume 6 weeks after surgery.
Facial Surgery: 1x per day unless you have crust build up
Rhinoplasty: 3x per day unless you have crust build up
Facial Surgery: 1x per day
Rhinoplasty: every hour or as needed
Facial Surgery: once your drains are out and approved by Dr. Sanan (Day 2 usually)
Rhinoplasty: day after surgery as long as you do not get your face wet

2 days prior to surgery you will start to take these anti-bruising supplements.
3 days prior to surgery you will apply mupirocin ointment.
No, Alaina will empty your drains for you on your day 1 and day 2 visits.
2 weeks after your surgery you will start scar-fade cream. Please refer to our Amazon Storefront for the specific creams we recommend.
Facelift: At day 14 you are cleared to drive again, being extremely cautious as you turn your head side to side
Rhinoplasty: as soon as day 2 you can drive
Week 1: light walking only
Week 2: you may introduce light elliptical and treadmill walking
Week 3-5: you may introduce light weights (10lbs or less) and pilates/yoga Week 6+: you are fully cleared of all activity restrictions. You may resume swimming, heavy weight lifting, and HIIT exercises at this time.
Try to avoid foods high in sodium or that are very high in fiber. Sodium can increase swelling and fiber can worsen constipation. Soft foods may be easiest over the course of the first week such as greek yogurt.
You should ice on and off as much as you can. We recommend every 15 minutes that you are icing. Please ensure that you have a barrier between the ice and your skin as you will have decreased sensation as you are healing.
You can fly as soon as 7 days after surgery as long as you are cleared by Dr. Sanan.
